Review by Rene Keiser

One of my favorite authors is James Patterson.  I especially enjoy his Women’s Murder Club series because they are about a unique all-female group of experts who try to solve the latest homicides.

The group consists of San Francisco detective, Lindsay Boxer, a medical examiner, a newspaper reporter and an assistant district attorney.  Lindsay Boxer is the main character who through a series of murder investigations meets Claire, Cindy and Jill.  Together these four women form a friendship and an exclusive network called – The Women’s Murder Club.  The titles include:  1st to Die,  2nd Chance, 3rd Degree,  4th of July, 5th Horseman and 6th Target.  The stories are about women with warmth, humor and intelligence.  They are a very fast-paced and entertaining crime thriller series.  James Patterson delivers plot twists that keep you guessing until the very end.  I look forward to reading more about the Women’s Murder Club in future novels.
