Genealogy for Beginners
Have you ever wanted to research your ancestry but never knew how, couldn’t find the time, or didn’t know where to start? Now’s your opportunity to pursue this interest in a group setting. Join us as we learn the basics of genealogy research and explore tools that can help guide you to new discoveries. We will meet on Wednesday evenings during February, in the large group study room, at the Mason City Public Library from 5:30 – 6:30 P.M. No sign-up is necessary. Your guide on this journey will be Jet Kofoot, the library’s Head of Adult Services and Archives.
