The Mason City Public Library has partnered with Nine Square Feet to bring our community a FREE SEED SWAP AND GIVEAWAY EVENT!

Nine Square Feet is a registered nonprofit with the mission to build a dynamic network of home gardeners who share seeds, plants, and food with the goal of ending hunger and providing access to healthy food to our most vulnerable, and to build a more connected community.

An awesome collection of seed varieties - vegetables and herbs, flowers, and native prairie species will be available!
Each adult attendee can choose up to 5 free packets of seed and children (12 and under) can pick 2 free packets of their very own.
Bring a gardening buddy or the whole family.

Do you have seed to swap? Swap up to 10 packets of your saved seed 1-for-1!
(Come early, at 11:30 a.m., if you plan on bringing seeds to swap!)
