The summer library program theme for 2024 is Read, Renew, Repeat in the spirit of “Renew”, the Mason
City Public Library is hosting “A Day of Renewal” for Adults on Saturday the 15th of June, held in the Mason City Room at the west end of the building. Meditation, journaling, yoga, choral reading, journal decorating, and folding paper lotus flowers with a closing meditation will be the order of the day. Participants are asked to bring their own sack lunch and beverage. Snacks will be provided. Please dress in layers, and bring a yoga mat, rug or towel for the yoga portion of the day. Thanks to funding provided by The Friends of the Library and
other anonymous donors there will be no cost for registration or the materials used during the event.
Door prizes include a meditation cushion and books! Enjoy a day away from your usual routine to delight
in “A Day of Renewal”. Registration is required and space is limited. Register in person at the library’s
